Each essential oil has a unique aroma, of course, but some actually enhance memory recall itself, while others are additionally useful as aids to focus and concentration.
These include lemon, peppermint, and rosemary.
 Bergamot is another useful aroma, as it helps build confidence. It’s essential though that your child actually likes the aroma, and they should be consulted about which essential oils you use.



**Children should be able to sleep soundly without any worries, but life is not always so ideal. Essential oil body oils are very good at reducing stress and helping children to sleep, which will allow them to wake up feeling stronger and ready to face another day. Use a little of the following blend, rubbed onto your child’s back before they go to bed.

SLEEP BLEND
Lavender 2 drops
Chamomile roman 1 drop

Dilute in 2 teaspoons (10 mL) of carrier oil.

BATH OILS FOR SCHOOL STRESS :
Chamomile roman (Anthemis nobilis)
Bergamot (Citrus bergamia)
Marjoram, sweet (Origanum majorana)
Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)
Lemon (Citrus limon)
 Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
Clary sage (Salvia sclarea)
Mandarin (Citrus reticulata)
 Sandalwood (Santalum album)
 Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium)

Use 2 drops of one of the essential oils above, or follow one of the blends below, which are designed to help a child cope with school stress.
First, though, dilute the essential oil in ½ teaspoon of carrier oil before adding to the bathwater.
Make sure the oil droplets are well dispersed by swishing the water about with a hand.
Any excessive oil droplets that float on the surface can be removed with a paper towel before the child gets into the bath.
The amount of essential oil in Blends 1 and 2 below are enough for four baths each.

BATH BLEND FOR SCHOOL STRESS

 1 Bergamot 2 drops
Lavender 2 drops
Marjoram, sweet 2 drops
Lemon 2 drops

Diluted in 2 teaspoons of carrier oil, this makes enough for four baths.

BATH BLEND FOR SCHOOL STRESS 2
Geranium 2 drops
Mandarin 4 drops
Petitgrain 2 drops

 Diluted in 2 teaspoons of carrier oil, this makes enough for four baths.

 A simple remedy is to add 2 drops of lavender or petitgrain essential oil to ½ teaspoon of carrier oil and drop into the bathtub before the child gets into the bath.
 Afterward, wrap your child up in something cozy and give them a big warm drink and a gentle foot rub. No child can remain uptight after that!
